As it came to a jerking stop Ursula jumped out into the summer sun, arms stretched towards the sky and squealed, “We’re here! It’s ours!
Bags forgotten she flung open the creaky gate and rushed towards the front door.
The key jammed and stuttered, but finally the knob turned releasing the door from its hinges into the house, down into a gaping hole. There was no floor.

I had to laugh…we did buy a house on line from 2000 miles away…and it worked out great…but it is a scary venture…almost as scary as your story! Our house did have a floor…but as for the roof and septic…ahh, now that’s a story.
Well that takes some gumption. A big purchase like that done at a distance can be overwhelming. You’ll have to share your story sometime.
